About us

We have worked together for more than ten years, both as scholars and professionals, and acknowledge that the Italian Criminal Law often fails to understand the Business World. We therefore founded Bell Valsecchi Law Firm to fill this gap.

Alexander Bell

Alexander graduated in Law in 2007 and obtained his PhD in Criminal Law from the University of Milan in 2012, with Prof. Francesco Viganò, Full Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Milan and Judge of the Italian Constitutional Court.
After having been a Partner at a major law firm for three years, in 2019 he co-founded Bell Valsecchi Law Firm.
He has worked with multinational corporations on several cases related to tax, environmental and corporate crimes, providing consultancy and assistance from the first phases of investigations up to trials before Italian judicial authority.
He is qualified as an Italian Lawyer and has published numerous articles and given lectures in matters of tax crimes and environmental crimes.
He has been President and member of several Supervisory Bodies appointed pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001.

Alfio Valsecchi

Alfio graduated in Law in 2002 and obtained his PhD in Criminal Law in 2007.
He is qualified as an Italian lawyer, admitted to practice before the Supreme Court.
Since 2003, he has collaborated as a teaching assistant with Prof. Francesco Viganò, full professor of criminal law at the University of Milan and judge of the Italian Constitutional Court.
Alfio was a partner at a major law firm for eight years, and, in 2019, he co-founded Bell Valsecchi Law Firm.
He has specific expertise in tax, environmental and corporate crimes, and assists national and international clients both as a consultant and a defence lawyer. He sits on supervisory bodies pursuant to legislative decree No. 231/01.
He has published numerous articles and given lectures in matter of criminal law.
He delivers the training for continuing professional development of judges and public prosecutors at the Italian High School for the Judiciary.
